If you are a brand or PR professional looking to work with me as a travel content creator, you’ll find an overview of my collaboration options, requirements and T&Cs below.

Ideal Collaborators

I work with brands, tourism boards and PR professionals on relevant travel content and collaborations. I am happy to consider products related to travel, but receiving a gifted product does not guarantee editorial coverage. I decide independently whether a product is suitable for Solo Travel Story and my readership, and whether I wish to write about it.

All opinions and views expressed on Solo Travel Story are my own. Gifted products and paid collaborations are clearly disclosed in accordance with applicable advertising and transparency requirements.

Editorial Approach

Solo Travel Story is an independent travel blog focused on original, experience-led travel content. I create my own editorial content based on my personal travel experiences, interests and areas of expertise.

I work selectively with:

• Brands
• Destination & Tourism Boards
• Accommodation providers
• Attraction providers
• Tour operators
• Other travel-related businesses that offer experiences

I do not publish:

• press releases
• supplied promotional articles
• generic product announcements
• wishlist content
• content created purely for advertising purposes.

I also don’t participate in competitions or campaigns where the editorial value for my readers is limited.

For product collaborations, I only recommend products I consider relevant and useful to my readers. Receiving a gifted product does not guarantee coverage, and I retain full editorial discretion over whether and when a product is featured.

My publishing schedule varies according to my travel and work commitments. I will agree a publication timeframe with a client where appropriate, but I do not accept unreasonable time pressure or demands to publish before I have had the opportunity to create and assess the content properly.

1. You want unpaid SEO or promotional coverage. Solo Travel Story is not a free advertising space.
2. You want me to publish press releases, announcements, infographics or wishlist posts.
3. You want content without compensation.
4. Your offer is based on potential prizes, exposure or uncertain promotion.
5. You want to buy advertising, product placement or paid links on Solo Travel Story.

I’m a Europe-based travel blogger and content creator and work selectively with brands and travel businesses that are a genuine fit for my content.

Advertising & Third Party Content

I do not offer advertising space, paid placements, third-party content or guest posts on Solo Travel Story.

Compensation & Rates

I’m an experienced writer who creates, photographs and promotes all of my own content. I do not consider or publish content without financial compensation.

I work on a gifting basis plus additional fees. A gifted product is not considered payment for my work and does not guarantee editorial coverage. If I decide to feature a gifted product, my content rates still apply.

Current rates:

• 1 × Twitter post: from £15
• 1 × Blog image: from £20
• 1 × sponsored blog post, e.g. 1500 words plus 10 images from £1,500

Rates may vary depending on the scope and requirements of a campaign.

I do not support Kickstarter campaigns.

• Substantial editorial coverage, typically 1,500+ words and 3–4+ original images
• Professionally written, original content
• High-resolution original photography, shot with my Nikon Z50
• Honest, independent opinions
• SEO-optimised content
• Nofollow links to your website, Social Media or relevant videos

Blog Stats & Audience Profile

• Monthly page views / sessions: approx 3-5k per month
• Audience gender/age: 30-45 year olds
• Top countries/markets: UK, USA, Germany, Australia, Europe

All opinions are my own, and receiving a product, service or experience does not guarantee coverage.

Paid collaborations and sponsored content are clearly disclosed.

Photography

All photography published on Solo Travel Story is taken by me unless otherwise stated. My photographs are my intellectual property and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used elsewhere without my prior written permission.

Photography is included as part of commissioned content where agreed, but the images remain my copyright unless separate usage rights have been agreed and paid for.

Any permitted use must include full photographer credit.

NONE OF MY PICTURES ARE FOR SALE. YOU HAVE NO PERMISSION TO USE/COPY/SPREAD MY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY WITHOUT MY EXPLICIT AND PRIOR WRITTEN AND SIGNED PERMISSION.

If I see any of my pictures used by you without prior permission or knowledge, I will refrain from any ongoing collaborations with immediate effect. I do not work with brands that don’t respect my copyright or infringe upon my intellectual property and hard work. Any breach will also be reported immediately to my lawyers. I make no exceptions.

Plagiarism & Copyright Infringement

I take plagiarism and copyright infringement seriously. My written content and photography are my intellectual property and may not be copied, reproduced or republished without my explicit prior written permission.

If I discover my work being used without permission, the infringement will be reported to my legal team. I make no exceptions.

Please ask for permission before using or republishing any of my work.
